Who we are

The Pesticide Safe Bristol Alliance was set up by local food networks, environmental groups and parents concerned by the use of hazardous pesticides in Bristol’s parks, pavements and other public spaces. Weed killers (herbicides) are our main substances of concern, as these comprise the vast bulk of urban pesticide use, but we acknowledge the health concerns attached to the use of insecticides and fungicides.

The Alliance is supported by 23 organisations. Our founder members include PlaySafe Bristol, Incredible Edible Bristol, Bristol Food Network, Bristol Friends of the Earth and Mums Say No To GMOs.

Please get in touch if your organisation would like to join.
